The 1930's

The 1930's started out with two of Mansfield's most successful seasons. The 1930 and 1931 season shared the record for most wins in a season for 58 years. The 1930 offense held the record for most points in a season for 62 years. The 1931 defense holds the record for least points given up of any Mansfield team that played at least 9 games in a season. Success blossomed again in the mid to late 30's only to end the decade with back to back losing seasons. The 1930's was one of Mansfield's most successful decades. The team posted a 52-31-7* (.617*) record for the decade.
